Hello out there, it's me, Elissa. So great to finally have started this journey into to world of makeup and all things beauty related. Let me start by introducing myself.....my name is Elissa. I live in the great state of NJ and I've been here my entire life. (besides my brief but amazing time spent in Arizona). I am married for 6 1/2 years and we have a wonderful little girl who is turning 6 much faster than I'd prefer! Lol, she's growing up way too fast, but that's a whole other story! Anyways, I've had a strong desire to start my own blog and YouTube channel for a while now. The channel on YT will be coming hopefully in the next month (I am in the process of moving so just too hectic but as soon as we get settled that's my next project). The reason I'm starting this adventure is because I have an absolute love (some say obsession) for everything beauty related. I don't want to bore you with the details but ever since I was about 14 years old, it's been love at first sight. I talked my parents into letting me order this video, must have seen one of those late night infomercials, of a woman by the name of Victoria Jackson. My eyes just lit up as I watched this lovely lady,whom had the slightest hint of a lisp. She had a step-by-step tutorial of how to apply her makeup and skin care. It also supplied you with everything you would need.....your choice of warm or cool palettes, everything from foundation to lipstick. This woman thought of everything! The brushes and skin care were included with the VHS tape (this was way before DVDs and blue ray!) I don't know how I did it but I got my mom to order it and I eagerly awaited its arrival..... And the rest, as they say, is history. I was head over heals and there was no turning back! (to be continued.....)
